The brand synonymous with one of the most luxurious automotive experiences in the world, Rolls-Royce was about to launch the Phantom 8 with an area in the front dashboard to house a permanent piece of original art. Given that all Rolls-Royce automobiles are crafted by personalised appointments, this feature was designed to appeal to their customers already unique aesthetics.
Seeking to better understand and inspire their bespoke customer, Rolls-Royce commissioned Paul and his team to present a unique exploration of the artist’s process.
Paul’s role as Art Director ensured capturing the beautifully detailed and painstakingly exhaustive process of six noted artists. Illustrating their initial concepts, drawings, sculpting, modeling, engraving, carving, setting and polishing through to the exquisite, final execution, Paul and his team crafted six films and supporting stills images for the Phantom 8 launch.
The resulting content displays sensitivity and calm, something often reflected in the mere presence of a Rolls-Royce.
